Melina Kanakaredes the American actress is known for her roles as the character Dr. Sydney Hansen in NBC's drama Providence as well as Dr. Lane Hunter in The Resident. Her role was praised by critics in her portrayal of Eleni Anderson Cooper. This was her first television role in CBS' soap show Guiding Light.
